Great Library Design Studio is looking for a talented architect to join our team.

As an architect, you will work from the Dieter Vander Velpen Architects office in Antwerp and become part of a young and dynamic team. You will focus on designing large hospitality projects and have the opportunity to work on some of the most prestigious projects in the architecture and interior design world.

You are:

- MA in architecture with a minimum of 3 years experience in designing hospitality and/or large-scale projects

- a creative mind and the ability to come up with innovative design solutions

- adept at SketchUp, AutoCAD/Vectorworks. Knowledge of Vray is a plus.

- a team player with clear communication skills who can work closely with other team members.

- fluent in English, preferably also in Dutch.

- someone with proven problem-solving skills, who has the ability to tackle multiple or fast-paced projects.

- experienced in all project phases and skilled in following up construction sites.

You will:

- work directly with our Antwerp based team to design and manage projects in Belgium as well as abroad.

- go through all phases of projects: help define client needs, conceptual design, design development and project management.

- communicate directly with clients, contractors and vendors to keep projects running smoothly and on time.

PRODUCT/FURNITURE DESIGNER

Great Library Design Studio is looking for a highly motivated, creative and passionate designer, ideally with experience in the luxury product industry.

For this position it is important to have a strong sensibility of materiality and design related to concept development and product fabrication. This profile will work closely with architects and interior designers on various company-wide projects including custom furniture, lighting collections, objects, custom hospitality designs etc..

You are:

-BA / MA in interior architecture, interior or product design.

-experienced in product design and development.

- skilled in 3D modelling software (Fusion, 3Dsmax, Blender or similar) as well as rendering software (Vray, Keyshot, Corona, ....) . Knowledge of SketchUp is a bonus.

- a team player with clear communication skills who can work closely with other team members.

-someone with understanding of construction and materiality. Hands on furniture making experience can be a plus.

-someone with excellent knowledge of luxury, high-end furniture and product design.
-fluent in English and preferably Dutch

You will:

- work directly with our Antwerp based team on projects in Belgium as well as abroad.
- assist Interior designers in meeting all product development related deadlines, handle correspondence and coordination.
- sketch for new concepts & design custom pieces in close collaboration with the team
- go through all phases of projects: help define client needs, conceptual design, design development and project management
-communicate directly with clients, contractors and vendors
-Execute quality control inspections with a critical eye
